Mrs. Etta Kreuger Hamstrom, wife of Charles Hamstrom, died on Monday night at 9 o'clock at her home near McCool, following an illness of nine months.
She was born in Portage Township, Porter county, sixty-two years ago, and always has lived in that vicinity.
Surviving besides her husband are one son, Carl Hamstrom, assistant county gravel road superintendent of north Porter county, who resides at home; one daughter, Mrs. William Pope, of Gary, and two sisters, Miss Lillian Kreiger, of Gary, and Mrs. Fred Gruel, of Hobart.
Mrs. Hamstrom was a member of the Lutheran church of McCool. Funeral services will be held on Thursday from the McCool Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. J. A. Breshner, of Porter. Burial will be in McCool Cemetery.
